St Piran's pupils vote 'Remain'

St Piran On Wednesday we held our very own St Piran’s EU Referendum vote. Mrs Gresham organised an assembly on our membership of the EU, which gave the children in Years 3-6 the chance to vote on whether we should remain or leave. One of our parents came in to talk to Year 6 in more depth about the issue and at break time, ballot boxes were set up at “polling stations” for the children to cast their votes.
The results were as follows: 143 remain; 37 leave; 28 abstentions
We wait to see what the general public vote!
