A fabulous week before half-term

Weekly round-up

This week, Year 3 dazzled audiences with two spectacular performances of Aladdin. The production was a resounding success, showcasing the hard work and talent of our young performers. A huge well done to everyone involved in bringing this memorable production to life!

Lower School parents’ evenings took place this week, providing valuable opportunities for discussions about their child's progress. Additionally, our PSHE information evening was well attended, offering insightful guidance and support to parents.

Some of our Year 6 pupils visited Shiplake College alongside Dr Grover for an enriching design technology experience. This visit not only allowed pupils to explore the subject further but also gave them a glimpse of what to expect in senior school. A second group will have the opportunity to take part in this visit after the half-term break.

The school is buzzing with excitement as Mr. Barker, our resident DJ, prepares to set the tone for a fun-filled Valentine’s Day disco. These events, organised by the St Piran’s Society, give children a fantastic opportunity to unwind, dance, and celebrate a busy and successful first half of the term. A big thank you to everyone involved in making this event happen!

Our South African exchange pupils and staff have set off on their adventure to Pietermaritzburg. Accompanied by Mrs Richmond and Mrs  Earp, the group will not only visit our exchange school, but also enjoy the warmer weather. We wish them a fantastic experience and look forward to hearing all about their trip upon their return.

As we head into the half-term break, we wish all our families a restful and enjoyable time off. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, 24th February, for another exciting half-term ahead.
