School Life
The school is small enough that all children are known to staff but large enough that they will learn all the life skills to thrive. Each area of the school has its own personality, challenges and adventure.
Early Years | Nursery and Reception |
Lower School | Years 1 and 2 |
Middle School | Years 3 and 4 |
Upper School | Years 5 and 6 |
Each area of the school has joint assemblies, activities and play times. The curriculum is planned to ensure consistency of learning with transition to the next stage of the school built in. Things like reading schemes, maths methodology and topics are planned to ensure the best learning outcomes.
The School has Extended Day provision so that children can be in school from 7.30am until 6pm if required. We also offer holiday clubs throughout the holidays for parents to book if they require childcare.
Our school community work together to ensure the children have a fantastic school experience. Our St Piran's Society runs fun events for the children such as a Santa's Grotto and our Valentine Discos, but also parent events like our annual Bonfire Night and Summer Balls as fundraisers. All these events help to create the special atmosphere that is St Piran's.
