Love is in the air in the art department at St Pirans today! Year 1 and 2 pupils have been creating some wonderful Valentines cards for their loved ones ! Here's a question for the parents. What do the letters EGLL have to do with this photo? It's a little bit cryptic! What is clear though is the excitement of the team as our twelfth South African exchange departs tonight! Lots of planning and hard work behind the scenes, in two countries, have led to this moment. We can't wait to hear all about it. Particular thanks to Mrs Earp and Mrs Richmond for their support over the next two weeks and Mr Robinson for his planning. This week, our focus has been on perseverancethe determination to keep going, even when things get tough. Six of our Games staff have signed up to take on a triathlon this May. Our Eco Council led an impressive assembly, introducing Thomas Frank's Great Food Waste Challenge! The children explored creative ways to cut down on food waste at school and were shocked by how much we throw away each week. We even had a fun food planning competition between teachers and pupilsplus a special feathery guest who delivered freshly laid eggs as prizes! We're excited to announce that our new holiday club, Capybaras, will be open for Easter bookings tomorrow at 10am! Whilst still offering the great selection of activities that Multisport offered, there's now art and drama added in as well as the usual swimming fun.
